National Ride 2 School Day

Over the past 40 years the number of children who are physically active everyday has significantly dropped. In the 1970s, eight out of ten students rode or walked to school but today that number has dropped to just two out of ten . Hollywood Primary School did their part to promote active mornings with our Ride 2 School celebrations on Thursday 21 March 2019.

Students were encouraged to decorate their bikes in the most creative manner for a chance to win the 24 inch bike donated by The Bicycle Entrepreneur on Stirling Hwy. Our winner was a Dalmatian bike, created by Olivia in Room 2. Olivia was presented the winning bike voucher by Cilla Agnew, Nedlands Councillor and Active Schools advocate.

A huge thank you to all the Year 2 families and our Hollywood P&C who helped with the breakfast and event set up! It was brilliant!
